The Purpose of ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT service management is to certify that the candidate has gained knowledge of the ITIL® terminology,structure & basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of ITIL® practices for service management.

The Course intended to enable the holders of the certificate to a basic understanding of how the ITIL® best practice framework can be use to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of managing and delivering quality IT Service that meet the requirements of their customers. It provides a comprehensive overview of the ITIL® service lifecycle key principles ,models and concepts,as well as the 26 supporting processes.

The ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management is not intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the ITIL® Practices for Service Management without further guidance.
